Kokoro can now clone any voice with just ~600 MB of extra VRAM!

/u/Acceptable-Cycle4645

Measured result 96%Usable today 66%
Abstract

While looking for audio models, I came across OpenVoice. It's getting pretty old, but surprisingly still ranks high on TTS leaderboards. What caught my attention was its design: essentially TTS + voice conversion . The ToneColorConverter can run independently of the TTS model. That got me thinking: Can we pair it with other TTS models? I tried it with Kokoro, and the results were pretty good! So I added a small recipe any-tts to audio.cpp for Kokoro + OpenVoice ToneColorConverter. Recipes were introduced in v0.9.2 as predefined pipelines that combine multiple audio models. The overheads: ~600 MB additional peak VRAM ~10% slowdown on CUDA ~0.5× the original speed on CPU, but still 2× real-time You can also try pairing any tiny TTS model with ToneColorConverter. The TTS model determines the speech content, pronunciation, and prosody, while the VC model transfers the target speaker's voice characteristics. The built-in voice you choose can also affect the final output quality. A simple way to give existing TTS models voice cloning capabilities without retraining them! Disclaimer : This experiment is more about extending the capabilities of existing TTS models, not introducing another voice cloning model. I used synthetic voices as references, and the speaker similarity scores measured by CAM++ range from 0.7 to 0.8. So the generated voices largely match the reference samples I provided. This is one way to create custom voices for arbitrary TTS models. For better results, you may need to experiment with different built-in TTS voices and higher-quality reference audio. Both can significantly affect the final quality and speaker similarity. For example, with the same reference sample, am_michael scores 0.4, while am_adam can reach 0.7. submitted by /u/Acceptable-Cycle4645 to r/LocalLLaMA [link] [comments]

We used Claude to get a full PS2 emulator running in a browser tab: TabStationToo

/u/yousriii

Usable today 91%First-party 43%
Abstract

My buddy u/aegyptiacus11 and I have been working on fun side project, TabStationToo, a PS2 emulator that runs right in your browser. It's built on PCSX2 (GPL-3.0). We took its core, made it run inside the browser, and built a new page around it. You open the page, pick your BIOS and a folder of your own disc images, and play! You can try it: https://tabstationtoo.github.io/TabStationToo/ (works best in Chrome) We've tested it on Guitar Hero, GTA San Andreas, Final Fantasy XII, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 and Resident Evil 4. Mainly tested on an M1 max mac and a Linux system with a Ryzen 7 7840u. Your files stay on your computer. Nothing gets uploaded. The game is read straight from your own disc image. Most of the code was written with Opus5.5. We decided what to build, tested the games and reported what was wrong, and Claude did most of the programming: A rulebook for Claude. The repo has a CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md file that Claude reads at the start of every session. It explains the project, the browser's limits, how to build and test, and our rules: credit PCSX2, never claim something works without testing it. Testing without us. we used Claude to build a version of the emulator that runs without a browser, so it could boot the PS2 BIOS, benchmark it for us without taking screen space so we can work on something else at the same time. It runs a few hundred frames and take a screenshot on its own after every change. The hard parts. On a PC, PCSX2 is fast because it translates PS2 code into the PC's own machine code, and a browser doesn't allow that. With Claude we wrote replacements that translate PS2 code into WebAssembly while the game runs, tests them against PCSX2's original code to make sure the results match exactly. PCSX2's graphics renderer were also ported to WebGPU. Optimizing. Getting an emulated PS2 to run smoothly in a browser tab took most of our time. For each idea we tested, we made Claude check if the picture stayed pixel identical, and keep a log of every attempt, including the many that didn't help and were dropped. Many games now run at or near full speed (at least on our machines), though the heaviest scenes are still slower. None of this would exist without the PCSX2 team's 20+ years of work, so huge thanks to them. TabStationToo is an independent project and isn't affiliated with Sony or the PCSX2 project, so please don't send our bugs to PCSX2. It's still early and experimental. We'd love to hear which games work for you! Github repo: https://github.com/TabStationToo/TabStationToo submitted by /u/yousriii to r/ClaudeAI [link] [comments]

Building a multiplayer game world with autonomous Fable-class models

Measured result 91%Usable today 34%
Abstract

How I Built the Most AI-Pilled Company in the World Don't be put off by the clickbait headline, this piece by Jacob Sansbury describing how they are building Spawn is a fascinating exploration of the bleeding edge of what's possible with agentic engineering against frontier models. Spawn is a massively multiplayer gaming environment where players can use prompts (to the in-game agent, Savi) to modify the game world. I fired it up on my phone for a few minutes and was able to prompt a castle into existence, then a dragon, then ride the dragon to fly around that castle. By Jacob's telling, Spawn is now being developed autonomously by a swarm of Fable-powered agents costing over $3 million in tokens per month ("we spend 30x payroll on AI tokens"). Our agents change the live code directly and ship to production hourly, so they read every error, bug report and metric themselves. About 60% of our work starts from a production error, a Savi bug report (Savi is the AI you build games with in Spawn), something odd in our logs, or a feature request. Savi files bugs herself. When a user hits one, or Savi hits one in the product, she files it. It goes straight to an agent that decides whether it's a real bug to fix, something we won't fix, or intentional design that needs a decision. Usually it becomes a change, delivered to that user within an hour, with a message in the same chat. This is continuous deployment turned up to 11: A loop this tight only works if it never stops, so we treat an hour without a ship as a SEV-0, our most severe kind of incident. Unshipped changes pile up, and every problem already in production lasts longer. The feedback slows down too. An agent can only keep a few hours of work in its head, so shipping faster than that actually helps it stay coherent. [...] We can roll back a broken change in 30 seconds, exactly where it's broken and nowhere else. When a monitor or a log alert fires, it starts or wakes an agent that owns the incident, and we break things on purpose to test that those recovery paths work. My eyebrows raised at least a dozen times reading this. I have trouble imagining this style of development working on software with higher stakes for when something goes wrong, but for a game this appears to be working surprisingly well. Jacob says that Fable 5 (and then 5.1) was the model that made this level of autonomy possible. Opus 5.5 doesn't quite hack it for them, and when they tried GPT-6 Astra to apply fixes from a security review everything stopped working: Every feature had been disabled and marked to be turned on again once the security fixes were done. Astra had gone through our whole product and made the insecure things secure by turning them off. These kinds of extreme experiments are why I'm excited about game development as a substrate for exploring the edges of what today's coding agents can do. Release: Swift 1.5 Flash Next - Heretic v2 - ReverseEngineer

/u/jjusko20

Usable today 90%First-party 34%
Abstract

This model was made in collaboration with u/jeffpeng3 (on huggingface) who developed the v2 heretic weights for this quant. He managed to preserve both reasoning ability and output length. Great work, and a big step up from his v1 weights. I made the quantization recipe and the imatrix recipe, and created the actual quants. Comes pre-packed with strata build artifacts - zip file in repo. GGUF File Format for the quant. I released my own heretic version of his v1 weights in here a while ago - the heretic calibration was a bit broken, and my quant wasn't amazing. This is a huge step up on both fronts. Note: Strata may throw a BF16 kernel not found when you load the model, due to a quant spec - complain to your LLM and tell it there's already one in strata somewhere, it'll find it and wire it up. Basically: Qwen 3.8 Swift 1.5 Flash - Heretic v2 (uncensored) - Optimized for Reverse Engineering The bit allocation this model was quantized with is focused specifically on coding, intelligence, design, and specifically reverse engineering. I also added a little spacial reasoning for those working in 3d environments like myself. The model was quantized according to the following importance distribution (dumped from my LLM chat and documents with some revisions. I designed the distributions myself. **837 entries · 399,876 tokens [[llm written distribution table]] 01 · Chain-of-thought (22.2%) — step-by-step derivations, self-verification, backtracking 02 · System prompts (19.5%) — persona adherence, strict output formats, long-instruction compliance 03 · Design & architecture (13.5%) — design trade-offs, code review, API planning, refactoring rationale 04 · Agentic tool use (12.4%) — tool-call chains, file-edit loops, error recovery, function calling 05 · Math (7.1%) — arithmetic, algebra, worked proofs, symbolic manipulation 06 · Spatial reasoning (5.4%) — grids, 2D/3D transforms, coordinates, packing/arrangement 07 · Gotchas (4.5%) — false premises, trick questions, negation handling 08 · Situational judgment (4.5%) — open-ended scenario trade-offs with no clean answer 09 · Reverse engineering 🆕 (8.8%) — x86-64/ARM64 disassembly, Ghidra decompilation critique, ELF/PE/Mach-O internals, anti-debug/anti-VM, string deobfuscation, CFG deflattening, devirtualization, perf watchpoints, tracing stacks (LD_PRELOAD/Frida/eBPF), protocol RE, format round-tripping, plugin ABI merging, firmware analysis 10 · No-refusal heretic domain 🆕 (2.0%) — direct unrefused answers: ELF exploitation chains, process injection vs EDR, license-check patching mechanics, C2 protocol engineering New for v2 are the last two categories — ~43k tokens of reverse-engineering and direct-answer content, interleaved throughout the corpus, and run through the model itself so the matrix captures how the heretic weights actually behave. This matrix is fused with one from the AtomicChat team (same measurement, taken on the original uncompressed base model over a massive general-purpose corpus). Per channel, ours gets 70% weight where its data is strong, sliding smoothly toward 100% AtomicChat for channels our corpus barely touched — thin samples defer to the broad baseline automatically, so nothing falls through the cracks. Quant methodology Rather than spreading quality evenly across all 48 layers, the recipe spends bits where the activation measurements say it matters: [[llm twritten table]] -- the data used to design the per-tensor quant came primarily from atomic chat's activation measurements and the RCO findings from ISTALabs The last 12 layers do the heavy lifting. Activation-energy auditing showed down-projection energy surges 3× starting at layer 36, peaking at layer 47 (the single hottest tensor in the network — 48× layer 2). Layers 36–47 (plus the first 5 and the mid-network spikes at 15/20/23/30) got their down projections stepped up to near-lossless 8-bit. Layers 44–46 are the gate/up peak (8× the energy of early layers), so their gate/up projections got stepped to 5-bit. Layer 0's attention gate is a giant outlier (the most sensitive tensor family in the model) — kept uncompressed. Layer 2 is non-negotiable: the 51B-parameter n-gram table merges into the residual stream there, so noise at layer 2 corrupts grounding for all 46 layers after it. The stable middle layers (5–14, 16–19, 21–22, 24–29) stay at leaner formats — measurement showed spending bits there buys almost nothing (KL improvement under 0.0008). The router stays in full precision so tokens always get routed to the right experts. Enjoy! Shoutout to my 32gb v100s and my E5 2697v4 for grinding the work out. https://huggingface.co/trubisky/Swift-1.5-Flash-Next-Heretic-ReverseEngineer submitted by /u/jjusko20 to r/LocalLLaMA [link] [comments]

Qwen Image 2.1 + TRELLIS.2 in Blender: from a prompt to a textured, rigged character, then a whole village in Unreal (StableGen 0.4.0)

/u/sakalond

Usable today 90%First-party 56%
Abstract

StableGen is my free and open-source Blender add-on that generates and textures 3D models with local models through ComfyUI. 0.4.0 is out, and everything in the video is a real run in the add-on: Prompt -> mesh: a Preview gallery of candidate images to pick from, then TRELLIS.2 builds the mesh. Texturing with Qwen Image 2.1: every camera view is generated and projected onto the mesh, then Marigold V2 makes the PBR maps (albedo, roughness, metallic, normal). Masked Edit (new): paint a region on the model, describe the change, and only that part is regenerated, through the cameras that see it. Auto-rigging (new) with SkinTokens, plus retargeting FBX/BVH animations onto the rig. Experimental Qwen Image 2.1 Turbo , MOSS Image and FIBO 2.0 Edit , a reworked projection with cleaner seams, a new panel and a full user guide. In the video: Qwen Image 2.1, 10 cameras, on an RTX 4080 (16 GB). Time-lapse parts are marked. The village props went through the same pipeline and were exported to Unreal Engine 5.7 as GLB/FBX. Walk animation from Mixamo. Licenses: each model has its own; Qwen Image 2.1 and FIBO 2.0 Edit are non-commercial, MOSS Image is Apache-2.0. Check before commercial use. MOSS Image + MiniMax H3 + Hermes Agent = Halloween Music Video

/u/Ok-Wolverine-5020

Measured result 88%
Abstract

TL;DR: I wrote the lyrics and made the song with Suno. Hermes Agent then storyboarded it, rendered the stills, animated them in ComfyUI and added the lyric titles. I directed and approved every step. Setup: Hermes Agent is my daily driver, running on Claude Sonnet 5.5 through the smallest Claude Pro subscription. All the image and video generation runs locally in ComfyUI on an RTX 3090 (24 GB VRAM) with 64 GB system RAM. How Hermes talks to ComfyUI MCP. A comfy-mcp server exposes ComfyUI as tools: run a workflow, validate it, search models and nodes, fetch outputs, check VRAM, and so on. The REST API. For the music video I mostly used this route. Hermes writes small Python scripts that take an API-format workflow JSON, patch the inputs by node structure (prompt, seed, save prefix, audio, frame count) and POST it to /prompt . They then poll /queue and /history , pull the file from /view and verify it. How it started It's Halloween season and I got inspired by MOSS Image's capabilities, so I wanted to make a vampire song. I wrote the lyrics for "I Don't Bite", made the track in Suno and downloaded it. From there Hermes and I built the whole music video. The pipeline Timed lyrics. faster-whisper aligns the words to my lyric sheet, so every line has real start and end times. Consistent character, no character LoRA. The lead stays recognisable through prompting alone. Hermes keeps one frozen identity and outfit block and pastes it word for word into every image prompt, and only the pose, camera and setting change. Storyboard. A shot list that covers the whole song, shown on a local HTML board (details below). Stills. MOSS Image renders them, and the agent checks that each PNG's embedded prompt matches what I approved. Style LoRAs used on the stills: feverdream-epoch-07 at 0.8 strength. The sampler is er_sde, simple scheduler, 25 steps, CFG 3. Video. MiniMax H3 animates parts of up to about 15 s with a 1 s overlap. Each part gets a draft pass first, then a final with a latent upscale to about 2 MP. Speed LoRA used on the video: minimax_h3_DMAD_4step , from Kijai's MiniMax-H3 experimental repo. Stitch. Hard cuts in the middle of each overlap, with the original Suno track under the cut. Lyric titles. Optional animated lyrics on top (details below). The storyboard board Hermes builds me a simple local HTML page, timed to the song. A timeline shows the sections, thumbnails and lyric ticks, and the song plays while the matching still and lyric line show up. Each shot has its own card with the time window, the lyric, the prompt and the render. I judge every still against its lyric, hit Approve or Reject and leave a comment saying why. Hermes then rewrites and re-renders only the rejected shots as new versions. Approved shots stay untouched. Lyric titles The lyrics sit inside the scene, behind her, and every word lands on its syllable. ComfyUI makes the masks. SAM3 and BiRefNet-HR cut out the woman and key props per shot, via the API. Code does the animation. Whisper gives the word timings. Python (numpy, OpenCV, Pillow) renders the motion frame by frame: spring entrances, ember-style ignition, bass-reactive chroma split from the song's low end, and procedural spiders and bats. ffmpeg puts the original audio back under the finished cut. Workflows Stills: Moody Moss Minimal Workflow . Hermes works from an API-format variant, so it can steer the prompt, seed and save prefix programmatically. Video: Minimax H3 SEED HUNTER v2.5.1 . The original editor workflow doesn't run through the API as-is, so Hermes flattened it into a plain API graph. That kept the 4-step DMAD LoRA, the low-res first pass and the latent 3D upscale. Hermes added one trick: the Suno track is forced into the latent. The model only generates picture and lip-sync, and the vocals stay exactly my song. On the 3090, a 13.7 s draft at 0.4 MP takes about 4.5 min and a final about 23-25 min. submitted by /u/Ok-Wolverine-5020 to r/StableDiffusion [link] [comments]

1500+ styles for Krea 2 in a Comfyui wildcards node

Abstract

I Have no merit, Claude did it all by himself, I didn't do it for the community, I needed a node like this, there's similar nodes but they didnt satisfy my needs as a style junkie. I tested it slightly and it works best in Krea 2 and Qwen 2.1, but Krea 2 knows more styles. Kroma 0.3.1 comes third in my view with less details and more body horror,, didnt like the results in Moss... My 6 year old daughter designed a fully-fledged unicorn game and Claude Sonnet built it in under a month. Every sprite, sound and map is made from scratch

Abstract

We built a private unicorn game for my six-year-old daughter, with Claude Sonnet 5.5 as the coding agent for all of it. I'm a quantitative engineer with 20+ years of experience but i never made a game before. My daughter designed most of the maps and the playground games, and she gave the notes that shaped the rest. The initial thing was just a small forest map and finding all the 6 unicorns. What it is: A pixel-art sandbox that runs in a phone/tablet browser, installs to the Home Screen and plays offline. You lead a unicorn around 8 places, find 5 friends who follow in a herd, and cast 6 kinds of magic that affect certain items in the game. There are playground mini-games, and an optional spelling mode that a parent switches on. Saves stay on the device, with optional cloud backup. What Sonnet did: Claude wrote all the code: about 136k lines of TypeScript across the game, the build tools, a Cloudflare Worker and 3,000+ tests. That includes: A software 3D renderer. Unicorns, buildings and trees are small 3D models written as code. The renderer draws them at 4x size with a fixed light and ambient occlusion, then reduces them to hard-pixel sprites on atlases. No Blender, no sprite packs. A sound synthesizer. All 75 effects and 9 music loops are generated from code, with no samples. A map compiler that proves every door, spawn and friend is reachable. A game loop, pathfinding, and a herd that follows the leader. How we worked. The loop was simple. My daughter played the latest build and told me what she liked and what to change. I wrote her notes down (sometimes 25 items in one round, from "a place with a slide" to what a door should do) and gave them to Sonnet. The next day she played the result. Then again. She also learned how software gets made, because she could see her idea turn into a thing she could play and also I explained a lot about how stuff works to her. Around that loop, a few things made it work: A written plan first: We started from a tech spec, and Claude built small throwaway spikes before committing to anything. Before using Phaser it ran a seven-check test of the engine (animation, tile maps, depth sorting, pixel sampling, touch under zoom, audio unlock). It did the same for the Cloudflare backend. A style check before scale. Before rendering hundreds of frames, Claude drew one unicorn, then a forest clearing, and checked that they looked like the same world. It also dropped an idea that failed: a pure 3D face looked blank, so the eyes and mouth became hand-placed pixels. A decision log. Claude kept a row for every proactive choice with the reason and the evidence: 245 rows over 11 deploys. It also kept a handoff file so a new session could pick up exactly where the last one stopped. Tests that found real bugs: When the followers flickered between walking and standing, Claude measured it in the running game (20 flips in 103 seconds), fixed it, and measured again (none in 128 seconds). It also wrote a test that failed on the old code. When a browser test failed once, it worked out the odds of what the test assumed before blaming the machine. Checking what it couldn't see or hear: Claude couldn't watch the game or listen to it, so it screenshotted and read the pictures. It measured the sound with loudness meters and a signal analyser at the output. One thread: I always asked Claude not to use subagents, so I could follow a single conversation and audit what it did so that I always understand what is happening. Some notes: The repo has a file listing what is built, what was tested and what wasn't. It has run on two iPhones and a Mac, and we mostly play it on a Kindle Fire. When the Kindle felt choppy during spells, Claude added a low-end mode that draws fewer pixels and fewer particles, and it switches itself on for Fire tablets automatically detecting low fps. You can play it entirely for free here: https://unicorn-academy-game.github.io/ Source: https://github.com/Unicorn-Academy-Game/Unicorn-Academy-Game.github.io I will make everything fully open-source once i polish the educational engine. Overall I'm just INSANELY impressed by what Sonnet can do. I haven't felt like this since I was a teenager coding bots doing Mephisto runs in Diablo 2. I'm going to start making silly games for myself when I have the time :D And this game will probably be growing up with my daughter and develop into an open world game to help her with reading/writing/math skills. This is fan-made and inspired by characters from a book/Netflix series I don't own (Unicorn Academy). The Phaser engine and the Fredoka font are the only parts not made by Sonnet here. Well, and all the other open source libraries. But no other 3rd party graphical assets were used. I'm not a fan of image-gen. I like everything procedural. I'm here to answer any questions about prompting, planning, skills I'm using, etc. Ask me anything. Edit: look into https://github.com/cursor/plugins/tree/main/pstack . it's a game-changer, imo. there is a claude version. submitted by /u/OnyxMonolith to r/ClaudeAI [link] [comments]

Mistral Large 4 unifies instruction following, reasoning, coding, and agentic workflows in a single set of weights. While a generalist model, it shows especially good performance on workloads such as cybersecurity, finance, and law, and it surpasses frontier closed models on visual grounding. It is natively fluent in 160+ languages, including every official language of the European Union. Find more information on our blog . The model is also served on the Mistral API as mistral-large-4 . Key Features Mistral Large 4 includes the following architectural choices: ~1T total / ~52B active parameters : granular Mixture-of-Experts with 128 routed experts (4 active per token) and 1 shared expert. 1M context length , for long-context workloads. Multimodal input : accepts text and image input, with text output. Pixtral-style vision encoder trained to handle variable image sizes and aspect ratios. Instruct and Reasoning functionalities with function calls, reasoning effort configurable per request. Mistral Large 4 offers the following capabilities: Reasoning Mode : three reasoning efforts — low , medium , high (default) — so the same model can answer a quick chat reply or work through a complex agentic run. Vision : analyzes images, charts, technical drawings, and documents, with state-of-the-art visual grounding among open weights. Multilingual : natively fluent in 160+ languages, including all official languages of the European Union. System Prompt : strong adherence and support for system prompts. Agentic : native function calling, JSON output, and strict JSON schema enforcement. Cybersecurity : state of the art among open-weight models for security work, while refusing malicious requests. Large Context Window : supports a 1M context window. We release this model under the Mistral Ecosystem Open-Weight License : a modified version of the MIT license, for both commercial and non-commercial use — operating a Model-as-a-Service business requires a separate commercial license with Mistral. llama.cpp suport merged: https://github.com/ggml-org/llama.cpp/pull/31376 submitted by /u/jacek2023 to r/LocalLLaMA [link] [comments]

One photo, one question, three models: one returned a bounding box, one wrote prose for 2.5 seconds, and one sent back HTTP 400

/u/Jaswanth_011

Measured result 80%
Abstract

The question was plain enough to compare cleanly, a photo of a crushed front end and a single instruction, find the damage on the car. Bivia answered with coordinates, box [187, 50, 1000, 919] on a 0 to 1000 scale, so the result arrives ready to hand straight to whatever step runs next. The general model spent 2.5 seconds composing a description of the photograph, which leaves prose to parse for a location that four integers already carried. Jev returned HTTP 400, invalid image dimensions, since it caps input at 1568 px per side and leaves resizing to the caller, so the original file bounced ahead of any inference. The clip runs all three in parallel across six photos, a white sedan in Japan, van corner damage in Oban, a wreck on a bridge, a smashed front in Esbjerg and a rear end collision in Moscow, so the same question lands on each one in turn. submitted by /u/Jaswanth_011 to r/SaaS [link] [comments]
